Below is a reflection from Australian APF Councellor Phillip Huggins, responding to the news of the AUKUS treaty, set to equip Australia with nuclear submarines for the first time. This is a worryingly regressive move in the face of the TPNW which enshrined rejection of nuclear weapons into international law.
