Seeking Peace and Justice for 2025: Online Prayer Meeting
Date and Time: 28 January 2025, 5:00 PM UTC (London Time)
The Anglican Peace and Justice Network (APJN) invites you to its first online prayer meeting in 2025, where we as Anglicans will pray together for peace and justice in the world. Prayer and reflection are the core of effective witness and action in the life of the Anglican Communion.
The beginning of a new year is a special time to come together and learn from lay and ordained leaders about the challenges in their different regions of the Anglican Communion. Those featured in this online gathering are Burundi, Haiti, Jerusalem and Palestine, and New Zealand. Join us in listening and praying for God’s peace and justice for all.

What to Expect:

• Prayer, scripture, and worship as a global community of faith in God’s justice and peace
• Hear about peace and justice work in different regions, including stories and the challenges they face
• Prayers, hymns and songs from different regions
• Quiet time for reflection and response, including the opportunity to add your own intercessions

How to Join:
The online prayer meeting will be held via Zoom. Please register in advance via Registration Link

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Why Your Prayers Matter
The start of 2025 has brought new challenges for many parts of the world. This gathering helps us form solidarity with those facing violence and abuse, persecution, and unstable conditions across the Anglican Communion. Praying together affirms our shared support for one another and our commitment to seeking peace, justice, and reconciliation wherever possible.
