On Thursday, 16th November, the Anglican Pacifists held our monthly online prayer vigil, this time focusing on Humanitarian Workers.
The session included a talk from Dr. Theodore Mbazumutima about his work helping to bring about the peaceful resolution of land ownership disputes in post-war Burundi. We also had a presentation on St Margaret of Scotland whose feast day was on that day.
Sue Gilmurray provided music and hymns, and there were additionally prayers and readings. In particular, we prayerfully upheld the work of humanitarian organisations that do so much to provide life-saving aid to people caught up in war and disaster.
