As Partners in the Community of the Cross of Nails we are sending you
details of the CCN gathering via Zoom for the 80th anniversary of the
Coventry Blitz
Saturday 14th November at 10.15am
The gathering will take broadly the following shape:
10.15am Opening prayers led by Dean John Witcombe (meeting
open from 10am), followed by time all together for member news and
fellowship
11am Justine Huxley, of CCN partner St Ethelburga’s in
London, will very kindly lead the short reflection just before 11am, and
short discussion that follows in small breakout groups, on the subject
of what CCN are called to do in this time of pandemic, political
polarisation and climate breakdown, as we reflect on the impact of the
bombing on Coventry and the catalyst that that was for CCN’s own birth.
11.40am Join with our German CCN board friends and
colleagues, who are also gathering on this date – prayers and short
readings from both boards
11.55am Zoom meeting closes and each invited to join
separately the virtual Litany of Reconciliation live streamed from the
Cathedral ruins
The zoom link for the meeting is below; the meeting will be open from
10am to ensure everyone is present for a 10.15 start.
