As a member of the Network of Christian Peace Organisations (NCPO) APF are pleased to be signatories to this briefing on the upcoming General Election on 4th July. APF were represented in the Working Group that put the briefing together, following the sudden announcement of the General Election.
The aim of the briefing, of course, is not to tell anyone how to vote but to suggest some key issues and questions that Christians might consider before entering the Polling Booth. These points can be kept in mind when reading party manifestos, discussing with friends and family or putting questions to candidates.
Issues in this briefing include militarism, peace and justice, the environment and our response to the plight of refugees.
